Make Your Work Equivalent to Meditation: The Best Way to Have Peace & Focus in Your Work


    Introduction

    Do you love to feel irritated by the work which you have to do for your whole life and even you can't avoid it because that's the real system of human existence.


    Affirmative, we are talking about work. Work is the basic part of human lives and even surviving & growing from an early age to the modern age, we have learned one thing, work can't be avoided. Some people do it for the sake of the work only while some take it seriously as their life goal. If we have to do something regularly throughout our life, then how will it be if we earn peace and happiness through it regularly.

    Every human wants to enjoy but it's significant to note, enjoyment doesn't come only from vacations or when we plan for it but it comes when we make our whole life a sense of enjoyment and play of deep satisfaction.

    As a writer, I'm highly focused on creating good content which can improve the lives of people and at the end, I also feel great satisfaction along with my deep work.

    As I already said, every work is an art, so can't we make every moment a happy moment by changing the attitude towards work for the whole life. Here are some of the techniques you can quickly inject into your work life and boom, you are ready to enjoy every moment of your life:

    1. Stop Being Irritated with Your Work




    The best way to love your work, is to first stop being irritated even when you don't love your work.

    If you don't have a choice other than carrying out your work, then feeling less irritating can solve more than half of your problems. When we feel Irritated in our work, we exhaust ourselves too much in the process even more than the work we don't even love. The less stressed you feel, the better output you will get. It's not always that you get the work you love but it's how you develop a love for your work with time. Yes, this is possible too.

    2. Work Focus is Equivalent to Meditation




    Writing, reading and meditation can make you feel focused and can shift your soul to another world. Imagine, if we feel so focused while doing our work, we can feel less tiredness with the distractions present in the environment. It's like giving one direction to your mind to bring out the best output and at last a fresh mindset. In meditation, we focus on the same thing continuously like our inhale & exhale of breaths.

    It's true, our minds can hold infinite information and are capable of doing many tasks at a time but along with that, it also divides energy & focus within the tasks too and makes your feel less concentrated with them.

    So, it's better to carry out one work at a time to make your work equivalent to meditation. Focus is the highest form to escape this world. You can cheat on the time line very easily.

    3. Don't Avoid What Gives You Maximum Satisfaction




    You are allowed to avoid things that make you feel irritated and stressed until they are useless but we shouldn't avoid what gives us maximum satisfaction for you even if it gives nothing to anybody. If walking for a few hours gives you immense happiness, then trust me, this is charging your soul with energy. We feel energized by the activities that make us happy and remember it's our choice to be happy. 

    It's better if we love our work and create happiness than expecting things to always be carried out in our favours.

    Don't avoid what gives you maximum pleasure like listening to music, going out, talking to people, accomplishing work or playing with a dog.


    4. Do What You Love or Love What You Do




    Only a few fortunate people make their career in what they always want to become and earn maximum satisfaction and happiness every moment in their work but there are many people too who have derived their career by different needs and these derives aren't wrong too.

    • Now, if you have chosen this career, you should be happy enough, whether naturally or deliberately, or at least not feeling unhappy while concluding it.

    It's our choice, whether we choose what we love or try to love what we do.

    5. Direct Satisfaction and Happiness from Work: Test it Out




    Leaving happiness on the output of our work is like leaving & reducing happiness for later. It's astonishing that most people wait for happiness when they get their desired result. Do your work give instant happiness while doing it or you wait for its result.

    It's good to have great results but the real happiness is hidden in living every moment while accomplishing your goal & you will find, the satisfaction is actually unlimited & in your hands.

    Test this out in your work anytime. When we get instant happiness while doing our work, we love our work more and this improves everything as a whole. A person satisfied in his work makes a peaceful environment around himself which is good for his mental health and others too.

    6. Both Money and Self Satisfaction are Very Significant




    Some people feel money isn't significant but it's much significant than we think because that's the system of life. We can't have our livelihood by avoiding both money and self satisfaction. In most cases, money chases self satisfaction because when someone feels satisfied with his work, he does his best and that best can't be wasted.

    It's sad to say, only bad work can give us money only and nothing else. Good work gives us immense happiness, satisfaction, peace and a great intensity of life along with money.
